Hi, Me and my friend are planning on visiting the Disneyland California on DEC10. Is it possible to visit the ticket office a week before our visit and buy tickets in person, ahead of time, with cash?

Welcome to planDisney, Tomo, and thank you for this rich question. Like Uncle Scrooge loves to count his cash, I sometimes enjoy a little jingle in my pockets. Let's look at ways to secure theme park tickets on your upcoming Disneyland Resort visit.

I chatted with a friendly Cast Member who said you are welcome to stop by any Guest Relations location at the park entrances to purchase tickets, and they do accept cold hard cash! They also take credit cards and Disney Gift Cards, so you have a few methods available to secure some Disney magic.

When you pay for tickets with cash and not through your Disneyland account using a linked credit card, you must make your Theme Park Reservations in a separate step. Be sure the tickets are connected by tapping the Tickets and Passes tile in your Disneyland mobile app. To make park reservations, tap the plus sign at the bottom of your screen and choose Make a Park Reservation. Follow the prompts, and you'll be rich in fun in no time! A final tip is to make the reservations before you leave the ticket window to be sure everything is in perfect order.

Currently, dates around December 10 show park availability, but I suggest you buy those tickets and make reservations soon. The holidays are holly-jolly, and they're also busy.

The Holidays at Disneyland Resort are merry and bright, and one of my favorite parades is A Christmas Fantasy Parade. It was a dream come true for me last year when I was able to glimpse this festive parade from Walt Disney's apartment above Main Street, USA. That was a core memory!

Tomo, I hope your upcoming visit is full of candy canes and Mickey Gingerbread! Please stop by planDisney anytime. We treasure your questions!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
