Hiya, Pamela, and welcome to planDisney. And a Mickey-sized happy birthday to your grandchild! What a fun milestone. When my son turned three many years ago, I remember that opened up a whole new world of toys he could play with! But let's look at purchasing those
Annual Passes for
Walt Disney World Resort.
Although children ages 3-9 get a slight discount on most standard
theme park tickets, the price for an Annual Pass is the same for all ages three and up. I think that's because the passes, especially the ones offered exclusively to Florida residents, are such a great deal financially.
I have the
Disney Pixie Dust Pass, and although it's a weekday-only pass, it has paid for itself many times over. I don't have little ones at home anymore, but I'd probably still buy an annual pass for them because it would save money in the long run.
That might not be the answer you were hoping for, and I'd suggest your daughter weigh the number of times her family plans to visit in the coming year. She could compare the cost of a regular ticket for that number of days to the cost of a pass for the little one. She might find that the pass will be the cheaper choice.
My final tip is to check out the planDisney website for
several videos my panelist pals have made about visits with young ones. They offer many fun activities and tips to make those trips extra magical.
Pamela, I hope your family enjoys a year full of Disney fun and memories. Please feel free to stop by
planDisney with questions anytime.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
