Hi Brianna,
Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for stopping by with your question! You’re in for an incredible day at
Walt Disney World Resort, and I recommend adding the Park Hopper option to a theme park ticket. It allows you to follow your Disney dreams wherever they take you! I like to start my day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios or Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park before hopping over to EPCOT for a ride on
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind (because who doesn’t love an intergalactic dance party?), followed by some delicious festival treats. Then, I cap off the night with a monorail ride to Magic Kingdom Park to watch
Happily Ever After and, if I time it right, squeeze in a ride on TRON Lightcycle / Run or Seven Dwarfs Mine Train before calling it a night.
Now, let’s talk about getting your ticket! As long as your theme park ticket doesn’t require a theme park reservation (check out the latest details on
theme park reservations), you and your friend can pick up your Key to the World cards at any Guest Relations window outside the four theme parks. If your ticket does require a reservation, I'd suggest making your way to that park's Guest Relations window so you can breeze to the tap-in point once you're ready. That means you’re not required to start at Magic Kingdom—you can enter through the park of your choice!
That said, if you’re looking to save time, I recommend downloading the
My Disney Experience app once you arrive in the U.S. You can link your tickets to your Disney account using your confirmation number or ticket ID and take advantage of the
Disney MagicMobile service. This allows you to access the parks with your smartphone, no need to stop at Guest Relations! You can also link your ticket to a
MagicBand+ for an even more seamless experience.
I hope this helps you prepare for your visit. Please
send me another question if you need help with
Lightning Lane Multi Pass selections or recommendations on maximizing your day.
See you real soon,
Brent
