If my friend and I (2 adults) are in the same stateroom, can we check-in separately?

    Ahoy, Karen!

Thank you for sending in your question to planDisney! I'm always excited to help a fellow Georgian with cruise plans.

A Disney Cruise Line vacation is the perfect getaway for friends! I've sailed with friends on multiple occasions and love the ease a cruise provides for planning what to do (or not do), especially with plenty of adult-only areas and offerings. A quiet morning with a cup of coffee in Cove Café, relaxing on a lounger on Deck 4, a visit to Rainforest Room in Senses Spa, or live music and a glass of champagne before dinner are some of my favorites. I know you and your friend will enjoy scrolling the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for all your must-dos!

Karen, when it is time to complete your online check-in, you can check in separately. If you have the same Castaway Club status and check in around the same time, you should be able to select port arrival times that are the same or close to each other. If those times do differ, arrive at the later time if you'd like to board together. You can also keep checking up to 3 days before you set sail to see if any earlier times become available. If y'all are using Disney Cruise Line ground transportation, you do not need to worry about port arrival times. For your online check-in, each of you will need a headshot or selfie from the shoulders up, a photo of your valid passport or government-issued photo ID, an emergency contact name and number, a credit card number for your onboard account (cash accounts can be set up as well), and your flight information if flying. When you complete the process, you'll have an option to print off your Port Arrival form with your QR code or save the QR code to your mobile wallet. This code will help with all the check-in procedures for your sailing, so keep it handy on embarkation day.

It's always exciting when it's time to complete the online check-in because that means your vacation is just around the corner. We hope you'll let us know if any other questions come to mind as you continue to count down to your turn aboard the most magical cruise line on the high seas!
