    I want to use the free water park entry on check-in day. Does this count as a park reservation or can I reserve for another park in the afternoon?

    Hi Marcel,

    Welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy you stopped by with your question about visiting one of the amazing Walt Disney World water parks.

    The promotion that allows you to visit one of the water parks for free on the day that you check into a hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection is so fabulous! (The offer is valid in 2026 from May 26 through September 8).

    You do not need a reservation at either Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon. Simply show up at any time on the day you check in and present your MagicBand, Key to the World Card or MagicMobile pass for entry. Make sure everyone in your party is linked to your resort reservation. Please note that entry is subject to capacity and could be affected by weather or other factors. 

    We took advantage of the benefit last year. A day at Blizzard Beach was the perfect way to cap our cruise on the Disney Treasure and to kick off a few days at Walt Disney World. We're planning to do it again this year at Typhoon Lagoon following our cruise on the Disney Destiny.
