Aloha, Ann! A warm tropical breeze,
Cinderella Castle in your sightline, leaving today for the worlds of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy... I am
bubbling with excitement for you!
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort has held a special place in my heart, starting with childhood trips when the
Disney Monorail passed by on its way to the
Magic Kingdom. Growing up locally, staying at the Polynesian always felt out of reach. Turns out, staying here lives up to the hype, even the expectations from years of dreaming.
Within the Great Ceremonial House,
Captain Cook's has quick-serve meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's perfect for get-up-and-go early mornings, a late-night snack, and everything in between. This restaurant has a soda fountain with a selection of beverages. In addition to Coca-Cola and Diet Coke, there are a few caffeine-free choices, including Sprite, Minute Maid Lemonade and Fanta Orange. You can also purchase bottled beverages. The
Captain Cook's menu has the complete list, but you can usually find apple juice, orange juice, Powerade and water.
I am dreaming again of this magical vacation destination. My friend
Jennifer recently went to
Wailulu Bar & Grill and said it's absolute perfection. She enjoyed a few appetizers and the view of the fireworks. It's on my list for my next trip.
Ann, if we can help with any other questions, please
