Hiya Menaka!
Welcome to planDisney! You are off to a grand adventure with what sounds like a surprise flight and some last-minute planning! Let me see how I can help you make this fabulous!
Now, the only website I can direct you to that you can use while in Sri Lanka is
here. Most websites overseas require guests to work through a travel agent to purchase tickets to Walt Disney World. As you enter the United States we have a few more options to assist you right through the U.S. Walt Disney World
website and I'm going to use those links for the rest of my answer. Remember, these may not work till you arrive in the States!
You can
buy your tickets right on the site when you arrive. However, there is a risk as any trips from now until January 8, 2024, will require a
Theme Park Reservation which can run out. Two tickets don't need a reservation but only one of them will work for you due to the date of your arrival in November and that is the 1-day ticket for a specific date and theme park. This is a safe option if for some reason there is a Park you want to visit and it just has no availability. I just checked
Theme Park Reservation Availability for you and if you do end up purchasing a multi-day ticket there is a
chance you will have no issue getting the Park Reservations you want. I see that even tomorrow has plenty of availability for all four Theme Parks. This is not a guarantee but I have hope for you. If for some reason, you find no Theme Park Reservations for the Park you want to visit, there is the option to purchase a Park Hopper ticket. With this type of ticket, you can start your day in a Park with Reservation availability, and then at 2 PM enter the Park you may have originally wanted.
I don't know if you considered making any dining reservations but you don't need to wait till you have your tickets or Theme Park Reservations to make them. Reservations open 60 days before each date and if you are staying on-site at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel you can book reservations for your whole trip (up to 10 days). Our friends from Sri Lanka may have to reach out to a Travel Agent to help with that beforehand but once you arrive in the States you can just use the My Disney Experience Mobile App or the
website. That could be difficult as some desired reservations could be fully booked but you have the advantage of capturing the potential last-minute cancellations. Anyone can cancel a dining reservation up to two hours before their reservation time. May I suggest checking out Sanaa at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge? The dishes are a fusion of African and Indian foods with a view of so many animals right outside the windows! The last time I ate there I enjoyed my Bread Service while watching a giraffe. It was incredible!
I hope this helps and if you have any more questions please feel free to
let me know!
Happy Planning!
