Ahoy there, Brian!
Welcome back to planDisney! I'm glad you are setting your course for your Disney Cruise Line vacation.
It is very wise to arrive the day before your embarkation day, unfortunately, Disney Cruise Line does not offer hotel accommodations near Houston's William P. Hobby Airport. Also, Disney Cruise Line provides
Ground Transportation (for an additional fee) to/from George Bush Intercontinental Airport, but not Houston Hobby Airport. I saw on
your previous visit to planDisney that my friend Jen shared hotel options, including two in
Galveston near the port but you will need to arrange your own transportation from Houston Hobby to the hotel. For Guests staying at these resorts (when booked through Disney Cruise Line) complimentary shuttles to the port are offered (until November 2025).
Car seats for your young sailors may be brought onboard, but you will need to store them in your stateroom. No worries though! One of the great things about
Disney Cruise Line staterooms is their ample storage. I suggest storing your luggage under the bed. While I doubt car seats would fit under the bed, most car seats will fit in the closets. Another space I suggest to place items is under the desk/vanity area.
One final tip for you, Brian. As your young family is traveling, I recommend passing the time with the
"My Disney Cruise Adventure Booklet." It is a fun way to get even more excited about your upcoming vacation!
I hope this helps you get on your way, Brian. You know where we are if you have other questions; planDisney is here for you!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
