Is there a fly over of the US Air Force this year at Magic Kingdom? July 2024? Florida

Happy Fourth of July, Navaeh! Thanks for popping by planDisney with this question. Knowing how prideful I get at the Flag Retreat ceremony on Main Street, U.S.A., I can only imagine how magical it will be at Walt Disney World Resort tomorrow. So much of Walt Disney World was inspired by and continues to honor America's history and traditions.

I've checked with Cast Members, and there is no official US Air Force flyover announced to commemorate the day. There is, however, a lot of celebrating in the works!

Magic Kingdom Park is getting the party started early with “Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky.” This special fireworks spectacular will light up the night over Cinderella Castle. There is also a simultaneous fireworks display over Seven Seas Lagoon to surround you with an unforgettable Fourth of July celebration. These fireworks will take place on both July 3 and 4 at 9:20 p.m.

The Magic Kingdom is also pumping up the jams with DJ dance parties in front of Cinderella Castle and other locations throughout the theme park. And, as always, The Hall of Presidents is not only celebrated for having seats and air conditioning. This tribute to the legacy of America's leaders is perfect any day, but especially on the Fourth of July.

If your admission includes the Park Hopper option, you may want to take the highway in the sky over to EPCOT. In addition to Voices of Liberty, which is always phenomenal, you may find some of your favorite Fab 5 characters donning patriotic attire at The American Adventure. The iconic Spaceship Earth will be getting in the spirit, too, with the colors it will shine across the skyline.

And let's not forget Sam Eagle at Muppet*Vision 3D. If you are in Disney's Hollywood Studios, you can see his salute to all nations, but mostly America.
