I want to see floor plans for the different rooms available in Hawaiian resorts

Aloha Michelle and welcome home, or as they say in Hawaii, E komo mai! Whether you’re looking for a quick stay or a weeklong (or more!) getaway, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, has all kinds of room types to accommodate Disney Vacation Club members. As DVC members, we have the option to book resort rooms all the way up to a 3-bedroom grand villa! During our family’s most recent stay at Aulani, we stayed in a 1-bedroom villa. Having access to a full kitchen and an in-unit washer and dryer made it convenient to prepare meals and clean our bathing suits when our trip (sadly) came to an end.

Michelle, here is a website that shows all the floor plans for the different room types available to book. Just click on the corresponding room type’s “View Floor Plans” link just below the blue banner to view the floor plan. Here are some key features of each room that you might find helpful. The resort rooms offer 2 queen beds while the deluxe studios offer 1 queen bed and 1 queen-size sleeper sofa bed. These two room types both sleep up to 4 people (plus an infant). For the 1-bedroom villa and larger rooms, there will be a 1-king sized bed in the primary bedroom and a combination of sleeper sofas and single pull down beds or sleeper chairs. The 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom villas sleep up to 5, 9, and 12 people (plus an infant), respectively .

As an added bonus, the Aulani website also offers 3-D virtual tours for deluxe studios, 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom grand villas. To access these, click on this link and scroll down to where it says “Your Hawaiian Home Base” and click on “Read More”. The additional information that pops up will provide links to the virtual tours of these room types. It's a great way to get a feel for the rooms that overhead floor plans can't provide!

Just be aware that for stays at Aulani, the local jurisdictions impose a nightly transient accommodations tax based on the number of Vacation Points required for the stay, Luckily, DVC also offers a convenient table that lists the nightly tax rates for each room type.

Michelle, I hope you find this information helpful and mahalo for visiting planDisney! If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to ask. My fellow panelists and I will be happy to assist.

    Your pal,

    Sean
