Traveling with 2 adults and 3 children to Aulani. One child is under 3. Are we able to all share a DVC studio room?

Aloha, Maya! Welcome Home to the to Disney Vacation Club corner of planDisney. I'm happy to help with your question, and so glad you decided to visit.

A journey to where the sky meets the sea--otherwise known as Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa--is always a wonderful idea! Our family enjoyed our first stay as DVC Members at Disney's Oahu outpost, and I can't wait until we can make a return voyage.

I'm happy to report that the Deluxe Studios at Aulani all accommodate up to 4 Guests. plus 1 infant under the age of 3--so you are good to go for your Hawaiian adventures! The Studios have a queen bed and a queen sleeper sofa; if you need a portable crib for your youngest wayfarer, I recommend contacting Member Services to note this on your reservation.

Well, with that sorted, let's talk about all of the fun that awaits at Aulani! Without a doubt, the Waikolohe Valley pool area is a highlight of the resort. It has the BEST lazy river, thrilling waterslides, interactive play areas, and a stunning infinity-edge pool. You can also snorkel at Rainbow Reef, Aulani's private lagoon, and see all sorts of marine life--and even some Hidden Menehune, the mischievous little people of the islands! For an aquatic adventure beyond the reef, you can snorkel in the lagoons of Ko Olina, which was one of my favorite experiences of our vacation. Several local companies rent snorkel equipment which can be delivered right to the resort for you.

Be sure to check the Daily 'Iwa each day--it's a handy guide that lists all of the activities happening at the resort. On any given day, this might include encounters with Moana and other beloved Disney characters, art projects, pin trading, and nighttime storytelling at the Mo'Olelo Fire Pit. Aunty's Beach House, the on-site kids' club, is a hub of fun activities for keiki ages 4-12 and I can tell you from experience that you may have a hard time convincing your kids to leave!

Maya, I can't say enough about KA WA'A, the evening luau. It's an opportunity to experience traditional Hawaiian song, dance, stories, and food with a touch of Disney magic.  We were totally enthralled, and my girls still talk about it!  Advance reservations are required and I absolutely recommend it.

Thanks so much for sailing by planDisney! As your planning journey for your Aulani adventure continues, please reach out any time if we can help with additional questions to make your vacation as perfect as can be.

    Stay Magical!
