Our flight arrives in Orlando 10:30 pm on October 19. How do I make my hotel reservations since I won’t be arriving until technically 10/20. Is that considered a late check in? How do i request it or let the hotel know?

    Hi Maria,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for asking us an excellent question about your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

My vacation days are incredibly precious to me. I try to minimize the amount of vacation time it takes actually get to my destination, which is why I typically like to fly into Orlando at night, with a flight that leaves after my workday is done. This means that my flights are often scheduled to land at 10:30 PM or even later.

I’m happy to say that you can make your Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation for October 19th and then, when you fill out your Online Check-In form (available via your My Disney Experience account) you’ll be able to indicate that you’ll be arriving “After Midnight.” A friendly Cast Member will be waiting for you when you arrive, don’t worry! And because you’ll be arriving well after the Resort Check-In time (3:00 PM), your room should DEFINITELY be ready and waiting for you.

Tip: Don't forget that you can already make your Disney Dining Reservations for the duration of your stay, because you're within 60 days of your arrival date. Some locations can fill up pretty quickly, so it's important to make those reservations now, especially if you have your heart set on enjoying a meal at a specific restaurant.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. We’re always happy to help.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
