My flight arrives in the early AM of my check-in day. Can I use the pool at the hotel until my room is ready

    Hi Joanne,

Welcome to planDisney! Your Walt Disney World vacation is only a few sleeps away, so let's make sure you have all the information you need to fill every moment with magic.

You absolutely are entitled to take advantage of all the benefits of being a guest at a hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection for your entire check-in day, even if you arrive well before your room is  ready.

You can stow your luggage at Bell Services and use the pool, the recreational facilities, the complimentary transportation to the theme parks or Disney Springs and all of the other amenities.

If the pool is your plan -- and it's a good one -- I'd suggest packing an easily accessible bag with your bathing suit, sunscreen and other pool-side necessities to make the transition from travel clothes to lounge-by-the-pool wear quick and easy. There are restrooms and changing rooms near every pool. And towels are provided.

One tip: If you use online check-in, you can alert your resort that you will be arriving early and can ask to get into your room as soon as possible. There are no guarantees, of course, but I've found that cast members do their best to meet your needs. Or, when you arrive, stop by the front desk to let them know you are there and would love to get into your room as early as possible.

Happy travels, Joanne. Please let us know if you have any other last-minute questions as your visit nears.

    Enjoy,

    Wilma
