Our first trip is planned for June. Last day will be in MK. Doing Grnd Gathrng for brkfst and want to end our trip with a fun dinner for dd(6) & ds(10). Have DDP. What do you recommend?

    Jessica,

I would stay near the Magic Kingdom for dinner on that last night, so that you can return to the park and take it in for one last time. I have two suggestions.

    • 'Ohana. A nice blend of fun, food, and atmosphere. You can leave the park, monorail to the Polynesian, dine with a sunset view of the Seven Seas Lagoon and the Magic Kingdom in the distance, and then monorail back for evening fun. The entertainment is fun, but not overwhelming.
    • Whispering Canyon Cafe. A quick boat ride to the Wilderness Lodge transports your family to the American West and a dinner that has good food and fun. Similar format of entertainment to that of 'Ohana, the food is better, but there is no real view.

There are other great choices like Chef Mickey's, the Aloha Dinner Show, the Hoop-Dee-Doo Review, and Mickey's Backyard BBQ. I recommend these two, however, because the lower key entertainment lets you connect with your family and talk about the highlights of your trip. They are also less of a time commitment, so you can get back to the Magic Kingdom sooner!

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
