Boo to you, Kirsten! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question about one of my favorite events -
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! The fun kicks off this weekend, and it looks like you'll be among some of the first happy haunts to enjoy the celebration!
Kirsten, guests who attend the Halloween party are delighted with a special Halloween-themed fireworks spectacular,
Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular, typically scheduled for 10 PM on party nights. I recommend watching from Main Street, U.S.A., so you can get a view of the projections on Cinderella Castle for the full effect of the show! You'll partake in a spooky story as Jack Skellington transforms the castle into a haunted house, complete with dancing skeletons, some of your favorite characters, and maybe even a villain or two!
You'll also want to catch
Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade, which rolls from Frontierland down Main Street at 8:15 PM and 11:15 PM on party nights. I usually prefer to watch the fireworks and then stick around for the later parade! Following the parade, you'll still have some time to snap a seasonal photo with your favorite characters, grab some
spooky snacks, shop for exclusive seasonal merchandise, or maybe hop on one last attraction before the night ends (I highly recommend taking a spin on
Space Mountain; the Halloween overlay makes this an even more thrilling adventure on party nights!)
Kirsten, I hope this helps! I know you're going to be as happy as a grim-grinning ghost during your magical vacation, and I'm calling on the spirits from somewhere beyond to send extra pixie dust your way for safe travels and lots of magical memories! If you have any other questions, come see us again at
planDisney any time!
Stay Spooky,
Alison
