Anchors aweigh, Kristin!
Thanks for sailing by with your question. How exciting that you are just days away from your cruise aboard the lovely
Disney Magic! I know you are looking forward to
packing your suitcase and heading to the Crescent City, so I'm happy to help get you on your way.
The schedule for your cruise includes the following theme nights:
- Night One is Cruise Casual.
- Night Two is an optional Dress Up night.
- Night Three is Cruise Casual.
- Night Four is Pirate Night
- Night Five is Cruise Casual.
Kristin, keep in mind this schedule is subject to change based on weather and unforeseen circumstances. In my experience, even if Pirate Night is moved to a different night, the Crew does their best to make it happen during your voyage.
Now, when you are packing your suitcase, I have a few suggestions. For Cruise Casual, I like to think about what I would wear if I were going to a nice restaurant at home. Shorts and jeans are permitted; however, keep the swimwear and athletic wear reserved for the daytime. Dress Up Night is a little nicer, but it is optional. For Pirate Night, some Guests go all out, and others simply don the complimentary bandana (you will receive one per Guest in your stateroom) and let the swashbuckling begin!
Sailing out of New Orleans aboard the Disney Magic is going to be, well, magical! There is something so enchanting about coasting down the Mississippi during Mickey’s Sail-A-Wave Party!… A Bon Voyage Celebration deck party. I know you are going to enjoy every minute of it!
If you have other questions, Kristin, please cruise by again and let us know; we are here to help.
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
