When will we find out if we are having a pirate night on our Disney cruise on the Dream from Southampton 24th-28th August? The kids are excited to wear pirate costumes!

Ahoy, Megan, and welcome to planDisney. Go ahead and pack those pirate costumes – I have some good news for your upcoming cruise.

Your August cruise aboard the Disney Dream currently has Pirate Night scheduled for Day 3. After you spend some time exploring the beautiful Spanish port city of La Coruña, you'll return to the ship and prepare for some swashbuckling fun. In the afternoon, Guests will start changing into their pirate outfits, and there will be special activities to enjoy. Following a themed dinner, you'll head to the pool deck for a high-energy show and deck party. Just know that on this European sailing, there won't be fireworks. It'll still be a great time, though!

These schedules are subject to change, so it's a good idea to check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you board the ship and connect to Wi-Fi. There, you'll be able to view details about all the Pirate Night experiences, as well as your rotational dining assignment, Character greeting times, and much more.

Make sure to check out the Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab (for kids ages 3 through 10). These areas are supervised, and kids are securely checked in and out. They'll have a chance to explore the play areas and join various activities while you relax on the deck, stop by an adults-only lounge, or enjoy a little quiet time. Or if you prefer, there are Open House hours at the kids clubs when you can come in and look around, too!

Megan, I hope you and your family have a fantastic time aboard the Disney Dream. If you think of any other questions between now and embarkation day, please reach out – we're always happy to help here at planDisney.
