Ahoy, Debra, and welcome to planDisney. It's almost time for your
Alaskan adventure! Majestic glaciers, icy fjords, abundant wildlife, unforgettable port adventures – there's so much to look forward to, and I hope you enjoy every second.
The themed nights certainly add to the fun, and I'm happy to share some information about what you can expect. Alaskan itineraries don't typically offer Pirate Night. Instead of swashbuckling thrills, you can look forward to a joyful and festive
Frozen Fjord Celebration. You'll feel as though you're in Arendelle, with immersive experiences such as a sing-along deck show featuring some familiar faces, special activities, a themed dinner, and more. Schedules are subject to change, but it looks like this is currently planned for Day 3 of your sailing. There will also be a formal night on Day 2 and a semi-formal night on Day 5, which are great opportunities to dress up for dinner.
Make sure you have the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app ready to go. Once you connect to the ship's Wi-Fi, the app will populate with all the schedule information and other details you need to know, including when to catch a silent disco session, where to meet Characters, which restaurant you are assigned for dinner, which movies are playing on board, and much more. I use it a lot whenever I'm on a Disney cruise!
Are you getting so excited for your time aboard the
Disney Wonder? I have a special spot in my heart for this ship. It's so cozy, and I love the theming of the restaurants and lounges. Make sure to warm up with a fresh beignet from the
French Quarter Lounge – bonus points if you're able to enjoy it inside the streetcar!
Debra, you'll be sailing through the natural beauty of Alaska in no time. I'm so excited for you! If you think of any other questions between now and embarkation day, please reach out – we're always happy to help here at planDisney.
