Hello there,
Jessica, welcome back to planDisney! We are glad you stopped by with this question. I remember when these first were offered back in the 90s. My parents wouldn’t let me talk them into getting one. My cousin who lived a couple of houses down did get one, and I remember trying to find it was not a quick task. Back in 2016 we did locate it eventually with the help of a Cast Member. Disney’s Walk Around the World Bricks were at
Magic Kingdom Park for over 23 years. However they were retired in 2019, after welcoming guests for years. Walt Disney, always spoke about the parks changing with the time. So many beloved attractions as well as details like this brick your family purchased, eventually make way for new experiences. The last time I visited in March I knew I had to say farewell to some attractions, and see you real soon to some others. Exciting times for the new magic that is being dreamt up.
The next time you visit Magic Kingdom there will be a nighttime parade that has been long awaited.
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away is going to be a staple for years to come and debuts on July 20, 2025. It has been coming together for nearly ten years, from live performers, to float technology, to costume designs. The imagineers have been hard at work bringing this parade to life, and I for one am truly excited. This is just one of the things that are coming in the future. Magic Kingdom has lots of other changes happening which will bring Cars and a refurbished
Big Thunder Mountain back to thrill guests again.
I know this wasn’t the information you were expecting. I hope you can visit soon again to make memories you can hold onto tightly forever. If you have any other questions visit us again at

Have a magical day,
Jeremy A.
