Hello Jessica! Thank you for visiting with planDisney again.
I've got a practically perfect parade plan for you!
The
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade is currently scheduled to take place daily at 3pm in
Magic Kingdom. However, be sure to check the My Disney Experience app or ask a Cast Member on the day of your visit, as times are subject to change due to inclement weather or special events.
Securing the perfect viewing spot for the Festival of Fantasy Parade is key to getting the best experience! Luckily, there are a variety of great locations throughout Magic Kingdom to catch all the magical floats, characters, and music.
One of my favorite spots is in Frontierland, not far from
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Watching from here means you'll see the parade early in the route, giving you time to jump on
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad or cool off with a splash from Tiana’s big drop!
For a classic and iconic view, consider Main Street, U.S.A., not far from
Cinderella Castle. This location offers the perfect backdrop for some stunning photos, with the parade floats and characters passing in front of the castle’s towering spires.
If you’re planning to exit the park after the parade, the best spot is near the train station at the front of Magic Kingdom. Since this is the end of the parade route, you’ll have to wait a little longer for the floats to arrive, but it puts you in a prime position to make a quick exit before the crowds disperse.
Many guests start lining up about an hour before the parade begins, so if you want an unobstructed view of your favorite Disney friends, be sure to claim your spot early once you see others gathering along the route. Grab a snack, enjoy the atmosphere, and get ready for an unforgettable parade experience!
Have a magnificent Magic Kingdom day, Jessica!
Toodles,
Korliss
