Is there a ferry that will take me from old key west to one of theDisney world parks?

Hey there, Cathie! Welcome back to planDisney!

I’m always happy to help with transportation and directions questions. Walt Disney World Resort is bigger than some American cities, and even seasoned travelers need help finding their way from time to time.

While there is indeed a water taxi stop at Old Key West Resort, it does not go to any of the Walt Disney World theme parks. It only travels along the Sassagoula River to Disney Springs and nearby Port Orleans - Riverside Resort, Port Orleans - French Quarter Resort, and Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa. You can find more additional information about water taxis at Walt Disney World here

If you would like to stay at a Disney World hotel that has water taxi service to a theme park, I’d suggest looking at options in the Magic Kingdom Resort Area and EPCOT Resort Area

As you continue to prep and plan for your Walt Disney World adventure, make sure you have the My Disney Experience app downloaded to your mobile device. The app can provide step-by-step directions using complimentary resort transportation to most locations around Walt Disney World. It’s one of the most useful features on My Disney Experience, and I think I use it nearly every day of my vacations.

I hope this info helps with your vacation planning, Cathie. Don’t hesitate to come back if you have more questions. You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney!

    Magical travels!
