Golly Bob Howdy, Richard!
I'm absolutely delighted to first, welcome you back to planDisney and second, to see that you're prioritizing my very favorite attraction,
Slinky Dog Dash, during your upcoming vacation! Can you believe that you're just a few days away from the magic?
Lightning Lane Multi Pass is a great way to maximize magic and minimize waits at Walt Disney World Resort, and I love that Guests with Park Hopper tickets are able to use their Multi Pass in multiple theme parks at no extra charge! Just last weekend my husband and I were able to bypass standby queues in Disney's Animal Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT in a single day. To use your Multi Pass in a second park, you'll simply need to wait until you've redeemed your first Lightning Lane experience of the day. You can then book your next experience in another theme park and even modify your current unredeemed selections to other theme parks if you desire. It's important to keep in mind that you'll be making your new selection or modification based on what is available at that time, so inventory of popular attractions might be limited.
To apply this to the specific circumstance you described, once you've redeemed your first Lightning Lane experience in EPCOT you can indeed select Slinky Dog Dash as your next attraction. While you might not see availability initially, I encourage you to keep refreshing. I was able to secure a Slinky Dog Dash Lightning Lane around 9 AM with a 4 PM return time and later modified it to 7 PM so that I could say 'bienvenidos' to Slinky Dog under the lights of Andy's backyard. As I told my husband, it was truly a perfect Disney day!
Since hopping between EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios is a literal breeze aboard the
Disney Skyliner, I encourage you to explore
EPCOT's International Festival of the Arts even if you're able grab a few Lightning Lanes in Hollywood Studios later in the day. There's to much to see and taste throughout the park it's definitely worth dedicating some time. We never pass up the opportunity to engage in a bit of friendly competition with one of
EPCOT's seasonal scavenger hunts, and our favorite Food Studios were El Artista Hambriento, L’Arte di Mangiare, and Pop Eats. Be sure to check out the Festival's
Disney Eats Foodie Guide before you visit to decide what's on you must-do menu!
I hope this is helpful, Richard, and that you're enjoying the wildest ride in Andy's backyard
real soon! If any additional questions arise you finalize your plans, feel free to
stop back by planDisney. I'm always happy to help!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
