Bright Suns, Mike!
Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad your question brought you to our side of the galaxy. Drawing from our personal experiences to help answer your Walt Disney World Resort questions large and small,
we are the panelists you're looking for when you're planning a magical vacation.
I actually just returned from a visit to Batuu, where I was fortunate enough to
pilot the Millennium Falcon and personally make the jump to lightspeed for my crew. As we were celebrating our successful mission with a
blue milk we had a brief run-in with a few Stormtroopers but were able to avoid detainment. It was a day I'll be telling the younglings about for years to come!
During my time at Black Spire Outpost, in addition to sightings of Rey, Kylo Ren, and the aforementioned Stormtroopers, I also encountered
several travelers dressed in their Jedi-inspired finest. I truly felt as if I had been transported to a galaxy far, far away! Per
Walt Disney World's Park Dress Guidelines, as long as your tunic does not drag the ground, you shouldn't have a problem channeling your inner Jedi during your visit to
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. It's important to keep in mind that policies are always subject to change and attire is permitted at Cast Member discretion, so while I don't foresee an issue, it's a great idea to have a bag for your tunic just in case.
Panelist Pixie Dust: While starting my day at
Kat Saka's Kettle with a cold brew black caf - the
chosen one for my tastebuds - is always a must-do when I'm making magic at Disney's Hollywood Studios, I also make sure to journey back by Black Spire Outpost once the sun has set for the day. Walking through Batuu with your path alight in the glow of lightsabers is its very own special kind of magic!
I hope this was helpful, Mike, and that your visit to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge isn't far (far) away. If you need any additional assistance as you plan, feel free to
stop back by planDisney. I'm always happy to help!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
