Bonjour, Shellyn, and thanks for stopping by planDisney! You sound like a strategist when it comes to planning a day at
Walt Disney World Resort, so you're among like-minded folks here. Since experiencing
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure is a priority, let's consider some options.
I think your best bet is to drive to
Disney's Hollywood Studios to park, and then you'll have some choices to travel to EPCOT's International Gateway entrance.
First and foremost, the walking path to EPCOT is a convenient and enjoyable option. It's about a mile, but don't worry, it's an easy and pleasant walk. If you're a brisk walker, you can do this walk in about 15 to 20 minutes.
You could also hop aboard a
Friendship Boat located near the bus station. Keep in mind the boat will make stops at the EPCOT resorts along the way, so this could take longer than walking. But you'll save your legs and start the day with the lake breeze in your hair.
My favorite option is to take the
Disney Skyliner to EPCOT. You'll board a gondola at Hollywood Studios and transfer to the EPCOT line at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort hub. This might also take a bit longer than walking, but it's an exhilarating experience in itself.
Parking at the EPCOT resorts like Disney's Beach Club Resort is reserved for guests of those hotels. Even rideshare drivers could be turned away if you can't show a valid dining reservation at the resort. My pal
Greg suggests taking a rideshare to the Walt Disney World Swan or Dolphin Hotels instead, so if you don't mind paying to ride, that option will save you a few steps.
Since you're a guest of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, my tip is to take advantage of
Early Theme Park Entry and head straight to the France Pavilion to join the queue for an adventure with Remy. I'm sending pixie dust and tasty
fromage so you'll team up with those cute rodents as they save the day!
Thanks again for stopping by
planDisney, Shellyn. Grab some breakfast at
Crêpes À Emporter for me! The Housemade Hazelnut and Chocolate Spread Crêpe is my favorite.
Au revoir!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
