Epcot International Food and Wine Festival

    Is the International Gate at Epcot only for those staying at certain resorts? We are staying at a good neighbor hotel and was going to Uber to the yacht club and use the International Gate for early entry. Is that possible? Hoping to do Remy first.

    Oh boy! Only a few short weeks away until you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort for a magical stay! You'll be there just in time to catch the end of the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival! Make sure to stop by the India booth for the Potato and Pea Samosas. They were absolutely delicious accompanied by a coriander-lime cream sauce!

    Entering through the International Gateway into EPCOT always feels like a secret passageway into the World Showcase. This entrance is available to all Guests, regardless if you are staying at a Disney Resorts Hotel. The only difficulty is making your way to this entrance. While getting dropped off at Disney's Yacht or Beach Club Resorts is a possibility, it is not guaranteed that the ride-share service will be able to drop you there without a valid dining or resort reservation. To bypass this concern, I suggest getting dropped off at the Walt Disney World Swan or Dolphin Hotels and walking to the International Gateway from there. The walk is a few steps further, but you shouldn't have any issues with this drop-off location. 

    The other option is to have the ride-share service drop you off at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Once you get dropped off here, you'll have three different options to get you to the International Gateway entrance to EPCOT.

    • You can take the walking path, which connects to Disney's Boardwalk. This is about a quick 15-minute walk from park to park.
    • You can take a Friendship Boat from Disney's Hollywood Studios to EPCOT. This will drop you off right next to the back entrance.
    • You can hop on the Disney Skyliner at Disney's Hollywood Studios and take it to EPCOT. You'll need to transfer at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort to hop on the EPCOT line. 

    This is a great plan if you plan to ride Remy's Ratatouille Adventure first. The France Pavilion is very close to the International Gateway, which will give you a leg up on the rest of the Guests coming from the front of the park.
