I will be on the Fantasy for a Very Merrytime cruise in 2025. I want to schedule around holiday and other included onboard activities. Are schedules of included onboard activities published prior to when the booking window for extras cost activities opens?

    Hi Rachel!

Welcome aboard! There are always so many activities on a Disney Cruise that it's kind of impossible to do everything in one sailing. But I understand wanting to have some idea of what will be happening so that you can prioritize your Port Adventures. I'll do my best to share some cruising strategies to help you.

While the full schedule of cruise activities won't be available before you board the ship, I would say that you'll have plenty of opportunities to find holiday cheer onboard. Very Merrytime Cruises bring a festive set of activities and entertainment, you are going to have so much fun! You will definitely get to enjoy some lovely decorations and unique events. You might see events like tree lightings, special holiday crafts, character friends showing off their holiday outfits...and maybe even Santa himself! The good news is that many of these activities will likely be offered multiple times during your cruise. The events that are specific to one day, like a deck party, are usually planned specifically so they don't conflict with dining and shows in the Walt Disney Theater.

When you do board the ship you can use the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to see the activities schedule. If you find something you're interested in tap the heart and save it for later!

I noticed that there are two different itineraries for Very Merrytime Cruises on the Disney Fantasy in 2025. If your ports of call include both Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point then I would definitely plan to choose a Port Adventure at each island. They are just beautiful and you will want to explore them both! If your sailing is visiting Nassau then you should see if there's a Port Adventure that stands out to you...but if not, don't be afraid to stay on the ship that day to enjoy the activities offered. Making our own "day at sea" even when we aren't at sea is one of my family's favorite ways to relax on a cruise!

Rachel, I know you've got a bit of a countdown until embarkation day. Did you know that the app has an adorable countdown timer that you can use to track exactly how many days it is until your cruise? Maybe it'll make the time go just a bit faster!

    Keep moving forward!
