For Oogie Boogie Bash 2024, are adults allowed to wear full coverage face paint? For example if someone dressed as an Avatar, is it ok for them to paint their whole face blue?

Greetings, Asia. Thanks for stopping by with a fabulous question!

Like you, I'll be heading to Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party soon, and while planning my family's costumes, I checked the "Dressing for Special Events" section on the Disneyland Resort website to ensure everything was within the guidelines. While it doesn't mention face painting specifically, the guidelines state that Guests 14 years of age and older may not wear face masks of any kind (unless for a medical reason) and faces cannot be covered. The final say on whether face paint is allowed is ultimately up to the Cast Member in the security area, so you'll want to make sure you have a backup plan in case.

Asia, Oogie Boogie Bash has become a tradition for my family. We love the treat trails and Frightfully Fun Parade! And I can't get enough of the seasonal treats offered at Halloween Time! The Disney Parks Blog recently released a Disneyland Halloween Foodie Guide for this year, and there are so many wonderful things to try. At Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream, I can't wait to fly by and taste the Witch’s Hat Sundae. Maybe you'll find a new favorite treat during the party!

I hope this information helps in your planning, Asia. Please let me know if there is anything else you need help with!

    Ghoulish greetings,
    Melissa
