Minimum height to ride on aqua duck on Dream ship

Welcome aboard planDisney, Mary! We're so glad you found us so we can help you prepare for your magical voyage aboard the Disney Dream. My very first Disney Cruise 15 years ago was on the Disney Dream, and the Aqua Duck was one of the main draws that finally convinced me to take the plunge. She has a very special place in my heart.

It sounds like you might have some littles with you on your cruise. The minimum height requirement to ride the Aqua Duck is 42" if with another rider and 54" to ride alone. Kids also must be over the age of 7 to ride alone, and kids younger than 7 will need to ride with someone over the age of 14. It might be a good idea to familiarize yourself with the helpful information in the "Know Before You Go" section before you embark on your journey.

My favorite time to ride the Aqua Duck is at night. There are some really cool lighting effects that aren't on during the day. Certainly it's fun in the sun, but at night it becomes a multi-sensory experience. I like to watch a movie on Funnel Vision located on the pool deck at night, too, and then take a ride on the Aqua Duck just before turning in for the night. Lines are typically pretty short or non-existent then, too. Keep an eye on your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App once you're onboard the ship for hours of operation as well as movie schedules.

Mary, I hope this has been helpful to you. Please contact me again if you have any other planning questions I can help you with.

    Grab hold of your dreams!
