Welcome back to planDisney Roni. I can't wait for you and your son to experience the magic of Walt Disney World. I appreciate your concerns about your son waiting in line, but I hope to alleviate some of them.
Disability Access Service (DAS) is designed explicitly for guests like your son who, because of a disability, are unable to wait in lines for extended periods. Instead of standing in a conventional queue, you will return to the attraction during a specific return window. This lets you and your son grab a snack, rest, or find something magical while you wait!
To take advantage of the service, you need to register. Please take care of registration before your arrival so that you can concentrate on all the fun once you arrive. You can register
via video chat up to 30 days before arrival, which is good for 240 days. Once your son is registered, select attractions using the
My Disney Experience app on the day of your park visit. Any guest in your party can make the selections, but your son must be present and experience the attraction to redeem the return time. We've used DAS for family members, and once we've entered the queue, I like to pull up the app and pick our next DAS selection since you can only hold one reservation at a time.
I hope this helps explain the DAS process. Walt Disney World is committed to creating a magical experience
for all guests, regardless of ability. To prepare more, you might find some of
these tips helpful for Neurodivergent guests. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any additional questions. I wish you and your family a wonderful vacation!
