    I will be going with my family to wdw in October but will be in Orlando in July. I am going to visit Disney Springs when i'm there in July and was wondering if I can purchase the military memory maker in July for my trip in October.

    Welcome to planDisney, Rachel! I am so happy to read you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort in October, during the Halloween season! This is the time of year the parks are the most magical (in my opinion!) and I hope you enjoy all the ghoulish delights, happy haunts, and magical memories you will make with your family!

    MemoryMaker is a must-purchase for my family each visit. The military rate just cannot be beaten, and we always come home with great pictures and videos taken by the wonderful Disney PhotoPass photographers. At this time, to receive the military rate for Memory Maker, it has to be done in person, it cannot be done in advance of your visit. What I suggest is once you arrive at Walt Disney World with your family and complete check-in at your resort, take Disney transportation to the nearest Disney theme park, or to Disney Springs and visit Guest Relations. You will need to activate your military rate tickets here (if you purchased them) anyway. Once your tickets have been activated, mention the MemoryMaker military discount, and Cast Members will take care of you straight away. My family usually waits until the following day to visit the theme parks, so getting these two steps done before gives us more time at the parks than standing in line.
