Hi there, Christina!
It’s absolutely wonderful to have you stop by planDisney and how exciting that your family will be joining you for some fun in the parks! You’re in for a truly magical time, and I’m thrilled to help make your visit as smooth and unforgettable as possible.
One of the best things about being at Walt Disney World is that once you're on property, the magic really begins and that includes complimentary transportation for all guests, whether you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel or not!
Your family is more than welcome to use any of
Disney’s incredible transportation options to get around. This includes:
Buses that are available at all resorts, theme parks, and Disney Springs
The Monorail, which is an iconic loop through Magic Kingdom resorts and EPCOT
The Disney Skyliner, which offers a scenic and breezy ride to
EPCOT and
Disney’s Hollywood StudiosWater transportation, like the relaxing Friendship Boats that glide across the lakes and lagoons
Be mindful, though, Christina. Since your family won't be staying at your resort, they won't be permitted to park there. If they are driving over to meet up with you, have them arrive early and park at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) for easy access to
Magic Kingdom via Monorail or ferry, and from there, they can explore all the magic the Walt Disney World Resort has to offer! They can also park at Disney Springs and hop on a bus to meet you at your resort. Even though parking is complimentary at
Disney Springs, buses don't begin running until 10am and stop running around 11pm. Another option is for your family to take a rideshare, like Uber or Lyft, to your resort. The driver will drop them at the front entrance of the resort, and you all can then hop on a bus to the park.
Let me know if you’d like help planning your park days, meal reservations, or magical extras. I’m here for every step of your enchanted adventure!
Toodles,
Korliss
