Hiya, Keri, and welcome to planDisney! It's wonderful that you've found us here with this great question! My Panelist pals and I are here and always happy to help our fellow Guests with their
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning questions!
Keri, it sounds like your kiddos who have an
Annual Pass might be headed to the
Disney Theme Parks with an adult who isn't an Annual Passholder. When they arrive at the
parking area, they'll need to show their Annual Pass to the Cast Member at the entrance. Often, the Cast Member will ask for identification to verify the Passholder's name. Since your kids likely don't have a valid form of identification, the complimentary parking benefit will be at the discretion of the Cast Member. In my experience, I've been in the car with Annual Passholders who were asked for ID, and I've also ridden with Annual Passholders who were able to simply show their pass without having to show ID - but none of those times involved children showing their pass.
As Annual Passholders, your kids are likely familiar with the exciting attractions at the parks. I also have preteens in my house, and one of my favorite things to do with them is to encourage them to try new and different foods at EPCOT. Especially during festivals, you'll find booths with snack-sized portions of plates inspired by flavors from around the world. The smaller portion allows each of you to take a bite and see if you fall in love with something new. It's a budget-friendly way to experience world-class cuisine without the pressure of purchasing an entire entree.
I hope this is helpful to you as your kids prepare for their visit. Please stop by planDisney with any other questions you have!
See ya real soon!
