Hello! Our family of 4 is visiting the MK for the first time in March. I have all the tickets in the app. My husband and kids have a MagicBand+, I am using iWatch. Do I still need to link tickets to the bands/watch? If so, how do I do that? Thank you!

    Hi Niranda,

We are so glad to have you back with us at planDisney! It looks like your unforgettable Walt Disney World vacation is right around the corner. I'm so excited for you!

I want to tell you, Niranda, it looks to me like you are almost through your pre-arrival checklist. (Do you make as many lists as I do when packing for the family? These lists keep us from re-wearing stinky socks the whole trip!) We just have one more step to get you on your way.

I like to think of a My Disney Experience account as the brains behind the Disney tech. Once everything is linked there, we just need some way to access it while we are out and about. One simple option is a MagicBand or MagicBand+, which you have. Once you link a MagicBand to a My Disney Experience account, it is the key to all of your Disney plans, from theme park entry and Disney Resort hotel room entry, to Disney PhotoPass Service, and more.

To use your Apple Watch, we just need to get you set up with a Disney MagicMobile pass which we will add to your Apple Wallet. Then, you can access your plans with a simple tap of your watch.

Setting up your Disney MagicMobile Pass is pretty easy. Using the My Disney Experience Mobile App, click on the three lines (the tech people tell me this is called a "Hamburger icon") in the bottom-right corner. Then, select Disney MagicMobile. From there, it will walk you through the process of selecting your design. Once they are exactly as you like them, click the (+) sign in the top-right corner, and follow the prompts to add your Disney MagicMobile pass to your Apple Wallet

Express Mode is automatically enabled for Apple Devices. That means that you don't even need to go through the screens on your Apple Watch to enter Disney theme parks, it already knows to have your MagicMobile pass ready! Just tap and be on your way.

I hope that's helpful, Niranda. Come back and visit us with any other questions. Now, back to the lists!

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally
