Greetings, Brittany!
Welcome to planDisney, where we fully advocate ringing in the New Year in style by celebrating at one of the Disney Parks! How much fun is that going to be?! Have you decided in which Park you'll be when 2024 arrives? I don't think you can go wrong either way and I know that you and your family will have a fabulous time!
As you can tell, I'm super excited that you'll get to be in the Parks to ring in the New Year, Brittany! In the past, New Year's Eve has been treated just like a traditional day at the Disneyland Resort, so your normal
Theme Park Ticket will allow you admission during normal operating hours for the entire day (even though the Parks will likely close after midnight on New Year's Eve). As of the time of this writing, no special ticketed events have been announced for the end of the year. I would advise choosing your Park and entering as early as possible. New Year's Eve is one of the most popular days at the Disneyland Resort and the Parks sometimes close due to capacity. I also recommend that you limit
Park Hopping because you don't want to be caught outside if one of the Parks do have to close due to crowds.
Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for news and updates on special events happening that evening. Last year, they filmed segments for
‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2023’ at the Disneyland Resort from throughout the Parks! Who knows, your family and friends might even spot you on the big screen that night! Just be ready for the crowds and pack your patience.
Brittany, I hope you found that helpful and if you need any further planning advice leading up to your big trip, please feel free to return and write to us again. You're always welcome at planDisney! Until next time!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
