Bright Suns to you, Averil!
Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with your question! I'm really excited for you and your family to experience Savi's Workshop in
Galaxy's Edge on your next visit to the
Disneyland Resort. It's one of the most immersive environments that the Disney Imagineers have created and you really feel like you're living in your own Star Wars story!
At Savi's Worksop, the Gatherers will assist Force sensitive Guests in crafting their own Handbuilt Lightsabers that you'll take home as a one-of-a-kind souvenir. The Disneyland Resort does offer international shipping to most countries, but I'm afraid that Australia is one of the handful of places to which international shipping is not offered. I know that isn't the ideal answer for you, but I have known many Guests who have brought a lightsaber on an airline flight as carry-on or checked baggage without any issues. If you decide to do that, a sturdier carrying case can be purchased over at Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities nearby. I've also heard a crafty Cast Member say that you could also just use a pool noodle to protect your lightsaber!
During your visit to Batuu, don't miss out on your mission to assist the Resistance in freeing the galaxy from the First Order in
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. And if you have a MagicBand+, one of my favorite activities while on planet is to locate bounties in the Star Wars: Batuu Bounty Hunters activity, for which I even wrote a
step-by-step instruction manual! There's no shortage of attractions and entertainment and we're happy to help you plan your vacation.
Averil, I'm sorry that this wasn't the answer for which you were hoping, but I hope that you'll still be able to return home with your very own lightsaber. Please feel free to reach out again if you have more questions for us because you're always welcome at planDisney!
May The Force Be With You,
-Al
