My family stays at Wilderness Lodge for 1 night in March, then we board the Disney Destiny for 5 nights, and will stay at Saratoga Springs for 3 nights after the cruise. If I buy a refillable mug on the first night at WL, can I still use it at Saratoga?

Magical greetings, Jamie, and welcome to planDisney! You've got quite a trip coming up next year! My favorite type of vacation is a land and sea combo of a Walt Disney World stay followed by a Disney Cruise. Even better, you've got a post-cruise stay planned, too. Thanks for asking your question about using resort refillable mugs.

Disney's Wilderness Lodge is my favorite Disney Resort hotel. I've been staying there since the year it opened in 1994, and I've visited almost every year since. If you plan on hanging around the resort the night before your cruise, I highly recommend heading down to the lake in front of Geyser Point Bar & Grill to watch Happily Ever After and the Electrical Water Pageant. They play the fireworks music so you get as much of the experience as possible. You won't be able to see some of the lower fireworks, but you'll get a good view of the ones up high. There are even a few comfy chairs to sit in for optimum relaxation.

I have some good news for you. When you get a resort refillable mug, either by purchasing it or with it being included in a Disney Dining Plan, it's valid for 14 days and can be used at any Disney Resort hotel. This means that yes, you can buy it at Wilderness Lodge, go on your 5-night cruise and then use it again for your 3-night stay at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. And if you decide to extend either of your hotel stays, you have a few extra days' use to play around with.

Jamie, I hope you have a fantastic time on the Disney Destiny and during both of your Walt Disney World stays. If you think of any other questions we can help out with, please visit us again soon.

    Grab hold of your dreams!
