Hi there, Dawn, and welcome to planDisney!
Thanks for submitting your question to us and how wonderful to hear that you'll be visiting the Disneyland Resort on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! It's the most festive time of year at the Resort and the Cast Members really do a phenomenal job of decorating both the Parks and the Hotels. You'll forget that you're in the middle of Southern California and instead think that you're in a Winter Wonderland!
I'm sorry to hear that your son had to change his schedule and now won't be able to join you. Unfortunately, the Disneyland Resort
eTicket Terms and Conditions state that Theme Park Tickets are nonrefundable. The value of the ticket will never go away, however. Standard tickets have very long shelf lives and, even if it is allowed to expire, the cost of a wholly unused, expired ticket may always be applied towards the purchase of a new ticket of equal or greater value. So it's nice to know that it always retains its value. If you have more questions and would like to speak to a Cast Member, please call the
Tickets phone line to be connected.
Have you been able to flesh out your
Holiday visit itinerary? I would recommend arriving at the Parks as early as possible. Those two days are very popular and crowd levels can range on the higher side. I would highly recommend investing in
Lightning Lane Multi Pass for you and your family to get the most out of your visit. And keep in mind that
Santa goes away after Christmas Eve, so if a visit with Jolly Old Saint Nick is high on your list, make it a priority on your first day.
Dawn, I'm sorry if that wasn't the answer for which you were hoping. Nevertheless, I wish you a wonderful Holiday trip to the Disneyland Resort and thanks again for stopping by. We'll see ya real soon!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
