Hello our family is staying club level at the Polynesian in December we stayed club level at wilderness Lodge in April. My question is did they do away with turn down service? As they didn't have it in April. In Years past we always received it.

Hello there, welcome to planDisney Amanda. Thanks for stopping by with your question about your upcoming stay.

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is quintessential Disney and I’m sure your family is excited to visit during the most magical time of the year. The holidays mean memories to last for years to come. When you stay at one of the Deluxe Resorts there are a lot of amenities and one of them is daily visits from housekeeping. There are of course some instances where you could deny the housekeeping. The other option where you wouldn’t get the housekeeping is if you are using Disney Vacation Club points or a DVC discount. In those instances you would receive housekeeping on the 4th and 8th days of a stay. So during your stay just verify with the Cast Member at the front desk when checking in that you don’t have any requests to bypass housekeeping to visit your room daily.

“‘Ohana means family” and it is also the name of a great restaurant that you should visit with your family. My favorite at 'Ohana is the breakfast but both are served family style and the servings are plentiful. If you aren’t able to secure a reservation you can try Capt. Cook’s. The fare is very similar and you will be just as happy with the options.

Hopefully this is the information you were looking for. Please visit us at planDisney.com anytime and someone will be happy to help.

    Have a magical stay,
