Hey there, Mariana! Welcome to planDisney! From one
Magic Key Holder to another, it’s my pleasure to welcome you to this happy place. I’m sorry to hear about the broken leg, though!
I’ve pushed my daughter through both a zoo and an amusement park with a broken ankle before, and she refused to let it put a crutch in her fun. Because of that, I’m happy to help you make the most of your magical visit while your loved one is on the road to recovery!
For Guests ages 18 and older, Disneyland Resort offers Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV) rentals. Manual wheelchairs are available to
rent for Guests of all ages. At this time, Disneyland Resort does not offer a service that allows Guests to check in a walker and exchange it for an electric scooter rental.
Many attractions have queues that can accommodate wheelchairs from start to finish. For attractions with different
accessibility procedures, simply stop by the entrance and chat with a Cast Member. They will be happy to direct you to the appropriate entrance or explain the best way to access the attraction.
Your visit is just around the corner! You’ll be arriving right as Soarin’ Across America debuts at
Disney California Adventure, and I could not be more excited. It’s one of my favorite attractions, and I hope you have a chance to take flight on this classic adventure with an updated journey while it’s available!
Mariana, I hope your family makes the most of every magical moment. I’m sending plenty of happy healing wishes to your loved one and hoping a little Disney magic helps make this recovery journey feel a bit brighter. May your vacation be filled with unforgettable memories, plenty of smiles, and a day that helps your spirits soar!
Stay magical,
Kimberly
