Welcome to planDisney, Karen! I'm happy to chat with you about the most magical accessory on Earth - the
MagicBand! Over the years, I have acquired quite a collection of these bands and am known to bring them all with me to the Walt Disney World Resort so I can match them accordingly to my outfits each day! That said, let's explore the options for finding your perfect MagicBand!
When you place your initial MagicBand order on your
My Disney Experience account, you will have to select or decline a band for each member of your party. Once this process has been completed, there is no way to go back into your account and modify your initial selections. While I know this is not the magical answer you were hoping for, I do have a few options I can suggest!
In speaking with a friendly Cast Member, I was told that if you decide you would like to order a MagicBand for a guest after previously declining one, you may call the
My Disney Experience, MagicBand, and MagicBand+ number directly to request them to reopen the order for you. As long as you do this at least two weeks before your trip to allow for processing time, they should be able to assist you!
Another option is to shop for your MagicBand outside of your My Disney Experience account. While you won't be eligible to receive the special pricing available with your Disney Resort Hotel reservation, you may find a broader selection of bands available online at
shopDisney. There is also always the option to shop in person at the theme parks, resort gift shops, or Disney Springs retail stores once you have arrived for your vacation!
