blue milk and dodging Kylo Ren in just a few weeks. So let’s chat about those adorable BDX droids!
Batuu is filled with travelers passing through on their way to the Outer Rim Territories, from resistance fighters to bounty hunters. While there were a few BDX droids out for a limited time this summer, they haven’t been seen recently in Black Spire Outpost. However, keep an eye out because you never know who might make a surprise visit! When the BDX droids were making appearances, you could find them listed in the
My Disney Experience app under Characters. To take a look, open the app and go to the map (select the upside-down teardrop towards the bottom of the screen). From here, filter by Hollywood Studios and select Characters from the icons at the top. I like to press Show List towards the bottom right so you can easily scroll through everyone in the park that day.
Speaking of rarer characters, did you hear that Chewie is making an appearance at
Jollywood Nights in his Life Day robe?! This specially ticketed event at Hollywood Studios has so many exclusive holiday shows and character meet and greets. And you can enjoy lower wait times for the rides, especially later in the night. It’s also a great time to explore Batuu with fewer travelers around, making it feel extra special.
One last thing I wanted to mention before I go. If you have a
MagicBand+, don’t miss the complimentary game,
Batuu Bounty Hunters. It’s such a fun way to explore all the nooks and crannies in Black Spire Outpost. I recommend playing at dusk, when it’s easier to see the lights on your MagicBand. Just steer clear of the Stormtroopers!
