Bright suns Jennifer, and welcome to planDisney! Are you ready to channel your inner Boba Fett and earn some galactic credits?! Batuu Bounty Hunters is a fun way to explore Black Spire Outpost in
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and discover the details you might otherwise miss.
So it turns out the local boss, Oga Garra, claims all the physical credits for herself. But there is a little something in it for you! In the
Play Disney Parks app, there are four special achievement badges for your hard work—Apprentice Hunter all the way up to Master Hunter! Under Located Targets you’ll see who you’ve found and how many credits you’ve earned.
Speaking of the Play Disney Parks app, you’ll need that downloaded on your phone and a
MagicBand+ to play. Once that’s all set, open the app, make sure your location is set to
Hollywood Studios, and scroll to Star Wars: Batuu Bounty Hunters. From there you’ll find everything you need to get started, including where to go in Black Spire Outpost for your first job.
The lights on your MagicBand+ will be your guide, flashing green when you’re on the right track and red when you should turn around. Batuu’s three suns can make it challenging to see the colors, so dusk is my favorite time to play. It’s easier to see the MagicBand+ colors and there are often fewer travelers around Black Spire Outpost.
Now, let’s find a way to commemorate your galactic achievement! At
Droid Depot you can buy a metal gift card in the shape of the local currency, the Batuuan Spira. I glued a magnet on the back of mine to stick on the fridge, which makes for a fun way to show off your earnings!
And after running around Black Spire Outpost, there’s no better way to relax than with your fellow bounty hunters and smugglers over at
Oga’s Cantina. Alongside the snacks and drinks, you’ll find exclusive mugs that would be another keepsake to remember your adventures!
I hope this helps you plan a galactic day filled with bounties, credits, and
blue milk. ‘Til the spire!
