    Hi, my family of four have basic magic bands from our last trip in 2022. Can we use these same magic bands for our trip later this year or will I need to purchase new ones? Thanks

    Welcome back to planDisney, Karen! I'm so happy to hear about your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! Thanks for dropping in with your question about MagicBands!

    You can absolutely use your bands over again and will not need to purchase a new one for your upcoming visit. As long as a valid theme park ticket is linked to your MagicBand on your My Disney Experience account, you will be able to use it to enter the theme parks, open your Disney Resort Collection hotel room and make purchases with a tap on a sensor and a pin number. 

    If you change your mind and would like to add a new MagicBand+ to your rotation during your visit, you can find all kinds of styles at the theme parks, Disney Resort Hotel Collection shops and even Disney Springs. The Cast Member at the register will be happy to help you link a new band to your My Disney Experience account, too!
