Hiya Lisa Marie,
Welcome back to planDisney! When you go to Walt Disney World as much as I do, you get used to getting
Disney Gift Cards for every birthday, holiday, and special occasion. I don’t mind, of course, because I love it!
Disney Gift Cards are so useful; you can use them to pay for theme park tickets, resort hotels, merchandise, and, yes, even dining! My family and I exclusively use Disney Gift Cards for our vacation for this very reason. As soon as we book our vacations, we begin collecting Disney Gift Cards in preparation for our vacation. Now, there are rare occasions where a Disney Gift Card is not accepted as a form of payment at Walt Disney World, but these are typically for locations not owned or operated by Walt Disney World Resort. In my experience, I’ve been able to use them at every table service location at
Magic Kingdom and
EPCOT. If you are curious whether a specific location accepts a Disney Gift Card, I recommend inquiring with a Cast Member at the host stand when you check in for your reservation.
I hope this was helpful, Lisa Marie! Before I let you go, I wanted to leave you with one additional tip for Disney Gift Cards. You mentioned multiple gift cards, so I wanted to share that you can combine your Disney Gift Cards into fewer gift cards (a maximum of $1,000 is allowed per card) on the Disney Gift Card website. I always do this because it can be a real pain keeping track of multiple Disney Gift Cards and which ones still have money on them. You only have to worry about a handful of them when you combine them. Please come back and see us if you need anything else!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
