Hello, Connie, and as a fellow Floridian, I'd like to welcome you to planDisney! I'm also a Pixie Dust Annual Passholder, so I congratulate you on joining the passholder family. You'll love the
perks and discounts that come with your pass, so let's talk about getting yours activated for your upcoming
Walt Disney World Resort visit.
An Exchange Certificate is a placeholder for your
Annual Pass until you can verify your Florida residency. My best tip is to bring your
valid proof of residency to the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs before you head to a theme park. I spoke to a friendly Cast Member who said if you go to a theme park before activating your pass, you might be charged for parking. Since parking at Disney Springs is complimentary, I'd recommend going there and activating your pass first. Then, when you get to a theme park, you will show your pass and should receive free parking on that same day.
Remember that you will need a
Theme Park Reservation for each day you plan to visit the parks. Even though your pass isn't activated, you should still be able to make park reservations online. If you've booked a stay at a
Disney Resort Hotel, you can make a park reservation for every day of your visit. If you are off-property, you can make up to three park reservations at a time with the Pixie Dust Pass.
Finally, if you booked a Disney Resort Hotel using an Annual Passholder special offer, you must head to the Ticket Center to verify your residency before checking in at your hotel to apply that offer. All the passholder magic hinges on confirming that you live in the Sunshine State!
Connie, I hope I've steered you in the right direction for exchanging your certificate for a Pixie Dust Pass. Enjoy your upcoming visit, and please
stop by planDisney anytime with questions. We love helping guests plan practically perfect getaways!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
