Hiya, Linette!
Welcome to planDisney! Can you believe that you are just a few short weeks away from experiencing
The Most Magical Place on Earth during the most wonderful time of the year? The halls are decked, menus are filled with holiday treats, and Santa Claus has come to town. Walt Disney World Resort has officially transformed into a (central Florida) winter wonderland! I'm sure you can't wait to be in the middle of the holiday magic, so let's talk about how you'll do just that.
Since you're not planning to arrive at Magic Kingdom Park via
Walt Disney World Resort Bus,
Disney's Minnie Van service, or a magical sleigh guided by reindeer, you'll need to be dropped off at the Transportation and Ticket Center before hopping aboard a
monorail or
ferryboat to complete your journey to Magic Kingdom. I'm personally partial to the monorail's route past Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, while my pal
Nimmy can't get enough of what she calls 'boat life' on the open (Seven) Seas (Lagoon).
To make sure you're dropped off at the Transportation & Ticket Center, you'll want to enter 1180 Seven Seas Drive, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830 as the destination in your navigation app. You can also enter 'Transportation & Ticket Center' to get navigation instructions. You'll know you're headed in the right direction when you drive under the magical archway that reads 'Magic Kingdom', but keep in mind that if you reach Disney's Contemporary Resort, you've gone too far.
I ho-ho-hope this was helpful, Linette, and that you'll enjoy a
Cheshire Cat Tail for me during your day at Magic Kingdom Park. If you're in need of further assistance as you continue to plan, feel free to
stop back by. I'm always happy to help!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
