Hi Alexi!
I'm so happy you stopped by to be part of our world here at planDisney! Navigating transportation options when visiting Walt Disney World Resort is such an important topic. In fact, two of my fellow panelists talked about all of the different ways to get from Point A to Point B in a
planDisney Podcast episode earlier this year! Whether you're using the
Disney Skyliner to swing from your resort to a park (like Tarzan may do!), hopping aboard a
bus, setting sail on a
water taxi, or enjoying the views from the
Walt Disney World Monorail, there is no shortage of options!
Alexi, bus transportation is available from
Disney Springs to the various hotels in the
Disney Resorts Collection, but only during operating hours at Disney Springs. This means that you likely won't find buses running to
Disney's Contemporary Resort until after Disney Springs opens -
typically around 10:00 AM. It's also important to note that
parking at Disney Springs is intended for Guests to use while enjoying the shopping, dining, and entertainment available in this lively location.
If you're planning to head to
Magic Kingdom Park from a
Disney Springs Area Hotel, you can always check at your front desk for any available transportation options. I've stayed at two of these properties before, and both offered complimentary theme park transportation. Additionally, a rideshare service might be another time-efficient option when heading to the parks if you're not staying on Disney property.
While you’re at Magic Kingdom Park, I hope you have a chance to enjoy one of my favorite rides,
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Wait times can often be pretty long for this attraction, but you can check availability for a
Lightning Lane Single Pass if it’s on your must-do list of attractions as well!
Alexi, I hope this information is helpful and that you enjoy a wonderful visit to Magic Kingdom Park! You’ve got a friend in me here at planDisney, so please stop by again if you have any other questions!
Cheers,
Kristi
