I have e-tickets that came with our vacation and it says I have to reserve the day at the parks how do I do that

    Hello, Matthew!

Welcome to planDisney. We're so glad you stopped by with a question for us. It looks like your Walt Disney World Resort vacation may have already started, so let's make sure everything is neat and pretty for you to head to the parks.

If you have a room and ticket vacation package or purchased date-based tickets, you will not need to make any additional theme park reservations to enter the parks. Just be sure your admission is properly linked to your My Disney Experience account and that you've decided on a method of entry, such as MagicBand+ or a Disney MagicMobile Pass. You'll be able to tap your band or the pass on your phone at the park's main entrance and be on your way toward the magic.

If you've purchased a non-date-based ticket or have an Annual Pass or ticket type reserved for conferences, school groups, or other special circumstances, you will need to make theme park reservations. I just helped a friend complete this process for the tickets she purchased through a work conference a few weeks back, and it's pretty quick to tackle. You can do this on the My Disney Experience app by clicking the "+" at the bottom center of the screen, then selecting "Make or Modify Park Reservations." You can also visit this website from your computer to complete the process.

You'll first be prompted to indicate whether you're visiting with just a ticket (or Annual Pass) or as part of a Disney Resort hotel reservation. Click the appropriate "Reserve" button, then select your name and any members of your travel party. You may see a note that no reservations are required for your linked ticket type. In that case, you're all set! If you see "x of x reservations available," click the "Continue" button to proceed to the calendar screen to select your visit date and desired park. Follow the prompts to finalize your selection, then repeat the process for any additional ticketed days.

I hope this helps, Matthew! If we can answer any additional questions, please come back and see us again. Wishing you a most magical vacation!

    See ya' real soon!
