hello .. enquiring about Florida resident discounts ..what are the details and requirements? specifically, can Florida residents purchase tickets for their out of town guests?

Hiya, pal, and welcome to planDisney! I'm a resident of the Sunshine State, and I love the perks and benefits Walt Disney World Resort offers. So, let's pour a tall glass of cold orange juice and look at how to stay up-to-date on resident offers.

I have the Florida Residents Special Offers page bookmarked on my computer to see deals as soon as they drop. Special rates on theme park tickets and Disney Resort Hotel reservations are added throughout the year. Another good way to stay in the loop is to follow the Disney Parks Blog.

As a Florida resident, I've had to show a valid form of ID at Guest Relations to activate theme park tickets and my annual pass. I've also had to stop by and show proof at the resort front desk when I've booked a stay using a resident discount.

All theme park tickets and annual passes purchased with resident offers must be used by guests who can show the proper proof of residency. If you live in Florida, you can only purchase discounted tickets for yourself and anyone who can show the proper documentation. Out-of-state guests can buy standard tickets or utilize any other Special Offers they might qualify for.

I have good news about booking a resort stay as a Florida resident. Only the person who books the room must show documentation, so any additional guests in that room do not have to be Florida residents. Remember, at least one guest in each room must show valid proof of residency, and a guest can only be listed in one resort room at a time.

Being close to the magic is my favorite perk of living in Florida, but the Disney deals are icing on the cake! I hope you can take advantage of some resident perks soon, and please stop by planDisney anytime. I'll have the sunscreen waiting!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
