Hi Allyson,
Between the
Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, the gorgeous fall decorations, and all of the
fun Halloween extras, October is a spooktacular time to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth! This October will be EXTRA special due to
Walt Disney World Resort's 50th Anniversary celebration! However, I also understand that flexibility is important in case you prefer to postpone your visit for personal health and safety reasons.
If you've purchased
travel insurance, you'll need to check the specific details of your exact policy, as those can differ from policy to policy, but I'm happy to let you know that it is possible to change the dates of your theme park tickets through Disney! My dear friend and fellow Panelist Tabitha shared exactly how to go about
changing your theme park tickets in this super helpful answer, so I'd definitely encourage you to check that out.
Along with valid theme park tickets, all Guests also need
Disney Park Pass reservations to be able to enter a theme park. If you do end up moving your trip, don't forget to cancel your current reservations and make ones for your rescheduled visit as soon as possible! In fact, I'd encourage you to check the
availability calendar before you move your ticket dates just to make sure you'll be able to make all your Disney dreams come true with the perfect itinerary!
Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney, Allyson, and please feel free to come back and see us again with any other questions about your trip.
Whenever you decide to visit the Walt Disney World Resort, I hope that your vacation is truly magical!
Missy
